Could you identify these two songs ?

Beitrag von mroldies »

There are two old recordings on the net.
They are from the years 1967 and 1970 and sung by (that time) the Czechoslovak female singers
Milena Polaskova and Tatjana Hubinska. They were probably recorded according German songs and I would like to identify
their original names and who sang them in German or English.
I have not been successful so far and that's why I ask you for your kind help.

The first song is available at:

The second song is available at:

I found a song entitled "Chérie" performed by Buddy Caine, Lyrics by Kurt Hertha, Music by Kurt Götz (not Curt), but I'm not sure that it is really the same song.
https://www.discogs.com/Buddy-Caine-Che ... se/9685831

The song "Ledové Srdce" is composed by H[eino] Gaze, perhaps this name can help to find more informations.

Hi Nowhere man,
As far as the information on the labels of gramophone records - they wrote there "something", in other words - they often made up (faked up) something.
I think only the melody (tune) is a clue (guidepost) to identify the original.
In the sixties and seventies they mostly "stole" the melodies (they recorded it from an outland radio station) and added Czech or Slovak words ...
And - on the top of it - the Czech lyrics may have nothing to do with the original English lyrics mostly.

Hello,

I know a German Version from the song by Tatjana Hubinskaja, but I think that this is cover Version from an international song. The German title is "Schau, schau, hinter den Dünen" and was sung by the French singer David-Alexandre Winter on the Riviera Label in 1969. It was the B title of David-Alexandre Winter's German Version of "Oh Lady Mary".

Best wishes

Christian

Hi Spremmi,
Thank you very very much. It was my age-old mystery.
It's a pity that it is not possible to determine the origin of the song "Ledové srdce"...
Maybe somebody will do it in the future.
Regards,

The German record of the first song: Margit Schneider - Boys gibt es viele

You can find it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiu5b_TK_uA

German text by Busch alias Fini Busch who wrote also the German texts of the following songs: Ein Schiff wird kommen (Lale Andersen), Moonlight (Ted Herold), Sugar-Baby (Peter Kraus) ...

Composed by Serda - I don't know who he or she is - perhaps Heino Gaze???

Hello Nowhere man, Spremmi, Ecki Löwer, waelz and others,

Thank you all for helping me to identify my mysterious recordings.
I see that there is a pleasant company of music witnesses and clever people here.
I have other musical mysteries, but probably not originally German sung, it is some "euro-pop" ...
May I try those identifications here too ? Or in "Dies & Das" section ?
